We had the privilege of being interviewed by a small group from the marketing team at IMTS, which stands for “International Manufacturing Technology Show.” This massive tradeshow takes place at McCormick place in Chicago, Illinois, and it is inarguably the mecca of all things manufacturing. Our company President, Scott Harms attended his first IMTS in 1996, and our MetalQuest team has loyally attended and supported the event ever since.
A portion of the marketing team at IMTS visited our facility in Northern Idaho, where we had recently started our company’s second location. We covered with them the latest on our operations in Nebraska and shared details about our expansion to Northern Idaho.
Our first INDEX MS40-8 was the first machine we set up at our Idaho location, and it was an all-hands-on-deck effort to begin production in a timely manner in order to deliver our customers’ orders according to their specifications, and on time.
Though our company’s first INDEX MS40-8 served as a foundation for starting a second company location in Idaho, this was not the only machine that would support our operations. Other machines that would soon be operational at our second location were a Tsugami B0326-III, an Okuma LB3000 EX II lathe, an Okuma Genos M560-V vertical machining center, and a FANUC ROBODRILL α-D21LiB5ADV.
