CNC Operator

A Progressive, State of the Art manufacturing company in Hebron, NE seeks experienced machinists for several 1st and 2nd shift positions, to oversee the operation of Okuma Mills and Lathes. Manufacturing experience is preferred. MetalQuest offers a competitive compensation package that includes comprehensive medical, retirement, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Primary job function is to make sure that the CNC machines are running good parts at all times.
  • Use micrometers and other metalworking measuring devices and read blueprints.

Job Requirements:

  • CNC experience is preferred, however not required. We will train the right candidate.

Assembly Operator

MetalQuest Unlimited seeks assembly operators for several 1st shift positions to aid in assembly of various sizes of valves. Assembly experience is preferred. MetalQuest offers a competitive compensation package that includes comprehensive medical, retirement, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Primary job function is to operate general purpose assembly equipment to assemble various size valves.
  • Must be able to read blueprints.
  • Work well in a fast paced team oriented environment.

IT Specialist

MetalQuest Unlimited is a state of the art manufacturing facility located in Hebron, NE. We are currently seeking to fill the position of IT Specialist. This person must possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain phone systems
  • Provide network, user software and troubleshooting support
  • Maintain records, asset tracking and prepare reports
  • Participate in installation, configuration, upgrade and management of computer hardware and software – including servers, work stations and thin clients
  • Resolve applications (MS Operating Systems, Office, MS Exchange, SQL and other applications) and hardware
  • Configure printers and establish local or network connections – assist with resolving various printing issues
  • Occasional weekend and evening work for installation, troubleshooting and replacement of infrastructure and components. This also includes on call support for infrastructure needs.

Training Specialist

MetalQuest Unlimited is a state of art the manufacturing facility located in Hebron, NE. We are currently looking to fill a position for a Training Specialist. This person must be a self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Department Managers and Team Leaders regarding employee training needs
  • Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtualtraining, and on-the-job training
  • Assess training needs for new and existing employees
  • Maintain current and create new employee training records
  • Track current training status of employees and report on training outcomes

Job Requirements:

  • Two years experience in related field preferred
  • Candidate must be a team player with excellent coaching skills
  • Must possess good problem solving and problem analysis skills as well as good presentation skills

CNC Machinist Programmer

A CNC based custom manufacturing company in Hebron, NE specializing in high tolerance component parts has several CNC Machinist Programmer positions available. The duties include set up and programming CNC machines. Must be able to coordinate and prioritize numerous details, and able to perform very close tolerance work. Vacation Pay

After 1 year of service, MetalQuest provides full-time employees with vacation pay, based on length of service.

Military Duty

MetalQuest is appreciative of the sacrifices of our military men and women who ensure our freedom. MetalQuest employees serving on active duty or in Reserve or National Guard units will have the flexibility to attend all required military training.

Holiday Pay

MetalQuest recognizes six traditional holidays for paid leave to allow its employees to celebrate with family and friends.

Shift Differential Pay

MetalQuest offers in its compensation package a differential for those employees working second shift.

Worker’s Compensation Insurance

MetalQuest actively promotes employee safety in all areas of our manufacturing business. Should an accident occur on-the-job causing injury to an employee, please be assured that worker’s compensation coverage is available.

Bereavement Pay

MetalQuest offers paid leave for a death of immediate family members of our employees to assist them through this stressful event in their lives.

Jury Duty

MetalQuest provides paid leave less any government compensation for employees summoned to jury duty.

Health Insurance

After 30 days as a full time employee, you may join the MetalQuest group health insurance plan. MetalQuest Unlimited pays a significant portion of the employees premium. Employees may elect employee, employee-spouse, employee-child(ren), or employee-family coverage with premiums taken as a pre-tax payroll deduction in a 125 pre-tax plan.

Health Savings Account

MetalQuest employees have the opportunity to participate in a pre-tax savings account for medical expenses. Unlike the traditional cafeteria (125) plans, amounts invested in a health savings account are not on a “use it or lose it” basis, and can be carried over from year to year. A health savings account encourage our employees to save in an interest-bearing account for unforeseen medical expenses. Unexpected medical expenses often cause a financial hardship without such an account.

Retirement Plan

Planning for retirement needs to start while you are working. MetalQuest encourages retirement planning by matching dollar-for-dollar employee contributions into a simple retirement fund, up to a maximum of 3%.

Dental Insurance

Employees and their families at MetalQuest may participate in a variety of dental plans designed to meet their personal needs. Premiums may be deducted from your paycheck using the pre-tax 125 account.
